KENNESAW, Ga. — For the first time since joining the FBS last year, Kennesaw State football is bowl eligible. KSU’s win over UTEP on October 28 makes the owls bowl eligible for the first time ever in the FBS in only the second year since Kennesaw joined the FBS.
Head coach Jerry Mack has taken the owls from just 2-10 last year to an outstanding 6-2 so far this season. Mack’s quick action, spread offense, along with a couple good additions in the portal last year, seems to have been the key to the Owl’s dominance in Conference USA.
Now that KSU has completed their first monumental accomplishment, they look to continue dominating Conference USA in their next few conference games against New Mexico State, Jacksonville State, and Missouri State.
The Owls who haven’t been to any post-season game since 2019, will also certainly look to extend their win percentage into the post-season with a win in their first bowl appearance.
